It really comes as no surprise to see the 6 of Cups at this time. The Sun is in Cancer, as well as the current Mercury retrograde, and today the Moon is there as well in advance of the New Moon tomorrow. The sign of Cancer has a tendency to fixate on the past and Mercury has a way of exacerbating this, bringing around those you have not seen or heard from in a long time. It is up to you to know who is worth your energy, based on previous experience. The best thing you can do with this card today is to take time out to smell the roses. Even on a Monday, this is necessary and beneficial.

The 6 of Cups is a card of reminiscence, reacquainting oneself with people from the past, taking a walk down Memory Lane, taking time out to stop and smell the roses, and childhood innocence.
