It is wise to give yourself maybe five days before taking any action toward your changes, in order to achieve the best results. The 3 of Wands is here to remind you your future is still a ways out there, but your ship is getting ready to come in soon. In the meantime, your best course of action is to plan, strategize, and prepare, for when that ship arrives you do not want to be left behind standing on the shore so to speak. You have ample time to get yourself together, and figure out what works for you. Before long you will be setting sail on a new adventure.

The 3 of Wands is a card which looks to the future and turns its back to the past, planning and strategizing are necessary for when the future arrives, your ship is coming in but still a little ways off in the distance.
