‘We Shall Never Pass this Way Again’ was a popular hit from the duo, Seals & Croft, back in 1973. This phrase very much typifies the use of our Death card today. It is not to be feared, rather it should be embraced. Currently, we are at the tail-end of two very important transits. Chiron in Pisces and Uranus in Aries, are both hanging out at 29°. This is known as the anaretic degree, and it brings us to the end of the cycle. What makes these two transits stand out more than anything else at this degree right now, is the fact that it will be decades before they make their way back around the zodiac to these spots once again. Chiron will move back into Aries on February 18, and Uranus will move back into Taurus on March 6. This marks the end of two key cycles, and being now at 29°, certainly you can feel the need to be done, and the changes which are on the horizon.
The Death card tells us it is ok to let the old way die away, giving way to newness and a rebirth. While, as I said in the video below, this is not all about today, rather it is about right now, and ongoing. You are closing a chapter, once and for all, so as to begin a new one. A little fear and apprehension can be commonplace, but do not allow it to hold you back from the transformative energies available to you. Many things are changing in the coming weeks, and it pays to remember that as you close all those old doors, you are making space in your life to open new doors.
