When I started to pull cards for The Card of the Day series, I immediately picked up on a theme. Saturn is now retrograde in Scorpio. Yikes?!?! Maybe not…it really depends on what we have accomplished so far.
Now mind you, I am NOT an astrologer, but astrology and Tarot go hand in hand. I have been reading for many years, so I am often painfully aware that things will happen when the universe is ready. All that being said, I decided to pull some cards for y’all to cover this not-brief-enough transit.
First, let me say, I am a Scorpio. Saturn just spent over two years there, so when it moved on to mess with Sagittarius in December, I think I was the happiest person on the planet. It will remain retrograde during most of this transit. On August 1st, Saturn will station direct causing a shift in perspective. It will remain in Scorpio to make certain it brings the lesson home. During it’s time direct from August 1 through September 17, Saturn will work to move you forward with these lessons. This is a highly transitional time period lasting roughly over 6 weeks. Thankfully, Saturn will not return to this portion of your life for many years.
The theme of Saturn retrograde in Scorpio has a much different feel to it than the experiences of the original transit. It’s time to come out of hiding now. I’m not saying it’s safe, but it’s a necessary chance you will have to take. It might involve venturing out of your comfort zone, but you are urged to look around. Now is the time to take action based on the lessons you’ve learned thus far and the goals you hope to achieve. You truly can be the master of your own destiny.
Review all of your accomplishments, as well as your plans, for now is the time to sow the seeds for the future. I promise you, you will most definitely reap what you sow. Sometimes the work is hard, but the rewards can be great.
Remember this…you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar. You can achieve your goals just by being good and kind. Patience does pay off. I do not recommend ruling with an iron fist. Be compassionate and peaceful and you will attract what you need.
You must know that there is never such a thing as a clear vision of your future. If you can’t always see your way, do not fear your choices. You can be your own worst enemy if you do not allow yourself to move in any direction and become stagnant.
At various points of this retrograde, doors will close and doors will open. You are not in total control of either. However, if you have not buried your head in the sand like an ostrich, I feel you can be successful with damage control. The area of your life which needs the most work will come full circle in these next three months.
The storms and the heartache are going to pass. They will ultimately be replaced with abundance. I know it feels like it’s been a long haul, but if you’ve been truthful with yourself you will reach your goal. Bear in mind that along the way your plans and goals may need to change. How can you change your life if you carry all that baggage with you? Let go of the things that cause you pain.
Often things are not as they seem. Don’t be fooled by illusions. Stick with the facts. It’s ok to try new things, in fact it’s necessary, but make sure you get the facts. This time is like a double-edged sword. It’s a time to build even though you may not know what you’re building. You may also find yourself dismantling things which no longer serve a purpose in your life.
The parts of your life that you’re working on now require nurturing. What you put into them these next three months will come to fruition in autumn.
At the end of this transition you will have achieved stability in the area where Saturn wants you to do work. You will feel victorious and successful. Truly, your cup runneth over. One of the most important things to remember is to be truthful with yourself. There will be casualties along the way. But, you will wind up where you’re supposed to be.
