I am always amazed by the timely appearance of the card we see each day. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day around most of the world; in Mexico, it was two days ago. The Empress card is the embodiment of all things maternal, that comfortable lap and nurturing soul. As people everywhere make preparations today to honor their Mother, keep in mind that there are those who deserve that recognition, but are spending their day without the company of their child.
I do not think it is any coincidence that Mother’s Day falls during Sun in Taurus, for you can’t ignore Mother Earth, Gaia, and that she cradles us all. It is important to note, that in only three short days, Uranus will be entering the sign of Taurus, and you could say that Mother Earth is angry. The recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Hawaii with subsequent volcanic eruptions and fissures is indicative of this. As Uranus transits Taurus over the next seven years, expect to see events which change the terrain of Gaia in an instant.
