New Moon blessings, everyone! Today is the New Moon in Virgo, and such a positive New Moon it is! Before discussing the 9 of Swords, let us first talk about what makes this New Moon so positive. On September 12, only three days from now, a sextile between Jupiter and Pluto will occur. What are your intentions for this New Moon? What do you wish to manifest? This is possibly your greatest opportunity for good fortune and manifestation in all of 2018. Note, to reap the benefits of this good luck sextile, make your moves now through the 11th, as the energy is always better as it is building in the leadup to the actual event. The potency afterward is always on the decline.
Ok, so how did we get a 9 of Swords in the middle of one of the best New Moons of the entire year? There are always plenty of things going on in the Universe to affect the energies, but, most notable is the Moon itself opposing Neptune. This tends to conjure up fears and confusion, allowing one to deceive oneself into thinking that everything is wrong and that nothing will ever be right. Which is basically the meaning of the 9 of Swords. Self-doubt and unfounded fears can run rampant now, but remember, you are in the know. And what you know is that it is just energy, and that the Moon and Neptune are pulling the wool over your eyes. Do not focus on the illusions of this and allow it to put you into a state of sleeplessness or anxiety, rather, focus on the sextile and something you have been wanting to manifest for quite some time. This will be where your energy is best served.
