For a while now, I have been talking about this week containing a turning point for many of you. Where you are at emotionally really matters now. Are you ready for what is to come, as in new things in your life? Or are you still mourning the things that have been disappointing failures over the last say ten years? Recognizing that the past is simply that…in the past, and that it is all water under the bridge, well, that is the first step. To be able to switch your focus to the positives which remain, to understand fully that all is not lost, that is what truly matters.
I really think this crucial timeframe depends upon your predisposition to optimism or pessimism. How you view things is of the utmost importance right now. It is true you may not have all of the answers, or be aware of actual outcomes, but to let all that hurt go, which has built up for so long, that is the best thing you could possibly do for yourself. There are no shoulda, coulda, wouldas here, only what you can do going forward, by taking what you do have and growing it into something wonderful that will fill your soul.
