Warmth, confidence, resolution, magnetism
Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
THE CARD’S STORY BY: NELLEKE SCHOEMAKER
For this card I chose to make a fierce and colorful dragon queen. I’ve replaced the often black cat by a dragon, and she has a magical wand. I didn’t want to add sunflowers, but I did add flowers with the symbolising yellow color, and a circle that also symbolises the sunflowers. Further, I made her a Mythical dragon lady with horns and magical crystals. THE CARD’S MESSAGE BY TRISH SULLIVAN Blue haired and tattooed, Tiamat, the Dragon Queen stands before a mystical symbol, her throne, a representation of her power. Waiting, almost apprehensive, her dragon kin cradled in her arms, a wand at the ready as she stands guard. In a world of normality and the ordinary, you are extraordinary. Believe in yourself, let your enthusiasm and positivity, your independence and motivation soar, and see for yourself the beauty and brilliance that others see within you. You’re a free thinking, independent badass, bound to succeed and achieve your heart’s desire. Your vitality and spirit inspire others, and prompt them to be their very best. The Queen of Wands can symbolize a confident person whose assurance is understated, but powerful. A person of boundless energy, warmth, positivity and an otherworldly quality you can’t quite categorize who is in your life, or shortly to arrive.
MYTHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION: TIAMAT, DRAGON QUEEN
Tiamat, Goddess of primordial Chaos in the Babylonian and Mesopotamian creation myths, also known as the Queen of Dragons is often referred to in legend as a serpent, though she takes many forms. She was the chief enemy of Marduk and their battle is one of the earliest recordings of the tale of good overcoming evil, or chaos. Tiamat was said to have given birth to many creatures of the world, including serpents, dragons, merfolk and scorpion kin. This passionate dragon queen seemed a fitting personification of a darker Queen of Wands.
