New Moon blessings, everyone! Today is the New Moon, occurring at 6° Virgo, making it no less than five heavenly bodies in this sign, not to mention Saturn in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus, giving us a heavy overload of Earth energy. This is one of the most important New Moons this year, and it will be your launch point for what is to come.
With the 5 of Cups, there is a mourning of the way things were; they are not that way anymore, nor will they ever be. The opportunity which is presenting itself to you at this New Moon is one which will allow you to create and build something new, something for the long term, and it will enable you to be the new you for which you have been hoping. The trick with this card, is to forget about the way things were, what did not work out, any broken relationships, disappointments, things you considered to be a failure, and to focus instead on what you do have. The positives which remain in your life at this time will begin to grow and thrive through your constant nurturing and devotion to them. Everything else is just water under the bridge. Go ahead, give it a try! A new life awaits, and you can start now with intentions designed to move you toward your destined path.
