This scene may feel all too familiar to you. Down and out. Rock bottom. Nowhere to go but up. Betrayal. Now, on this Christmas Eve, during the season of Chanukah, it is time for the healing to begin. The Moon, currently in Sagittarius, is in its balsamic, or dark phase, and soon will be entering Capricorn where there will be a New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse. Just like the Moon’s current phase, things sometimes always seem darkest before the dawn.
The 10 of Swords is all of the above-mentioned things, but it represents a time of recovery, from all of the hurts inflicted upon you in your life. You may even be contemplating some of these today, as the Sun, giver of life and vitality squares off with Chiron, the Wounded Healer. How appropriate. This may be one of those holiday seasons not soon forgotten. And why should you? Through the pain one endures, there is a ray of light, the dawn of a new day. You can heal. Reach out for help if you are in need. This is a time to rise up again.
