Holy observances of various faiths are held at this time, so seeing the Hierophant as the Tarot Card of the Day during holy holidays seems to be very appropriate. He is also known as ‘Il Papa’, or the Pope.
Of the various meanings represented by the Hierophant card, one of the most venerable afforded this wise individual is that of tradition.
