Happy Sunday! Happy Mercury Retrograde!?!?!?!? How about Happy Mars in Capricorn? You know the saying, “Two out of three ain’t bad!”. Yes, Mercury does retrograde beginning late today, and all the way through March 9 (post-shadow period takes it until March 31). Why all the happy, happy, joy, joy? Today, we have another card of celebration, back-to-back with the 4 of Wands does make it seem very special.
This is a joyous, social card, indicative of celebrations, parties, kicking up your heels for sheer joy, and raising your glass for a toast. A Sunday is actually a good day for its appearance, because typically this is an all-female card, giving way to the possibility of baby showers, bridal showers, and occasions where women gather. Above, I also mentioned Mars, which today, the planet of action and energy, enters its sign of exaltation. Given Mercury begins its first retrograde of 2020, you may find you do not feel any of this (although I find it highly unlikely with the Moon being in adventurous Sagittarius today). So you may find yourself with that three-is-a- crowd mentality, not wishing to share your time with more than one other individual.
