I am not surprised to see this card appear with Venus retrograde fast approaching. Venus, currently in Gemini, will retrograde from May 13 through June 25, with the pre- and post-shadow dates being April 9, and July 29, respectively. So, by now, pandemic aside, you have probably seen where you may need to tighten the purse strings. Today’s 4 of Pentacles suggests taking a more conservative approach, and holding on to your money whenever you can. This is not the time for big-ticket purchases, even if you feel you can afford them. There will still be plenty of good deals out there after July 29. Right now, there are some very turbulent, chaotic times ahead, not necessarily bad, just a matter of timing.
When we see the 4 of Pentacles, there is a need to hold on to what is yours, and as previously stated, a conservative approach is necessary now. Ride out the coming weeks before making any big-money decisions, once you have a clearer view of the landscape of things, because it is all about to change.
