Often, things, people, situations, and behaviors, can be bad for you, even when they seem so good on the surface. This is such a beautiful rendering of the Devil card, reminding you of just that, and how easily one can be sucked in, become addicted, all while being mesmerized by the superficial glitter of it all. Deceit, being deceitful, being deceived, all are possible now, and once again I feel compelled to remind everyone not to fall prey to conspiracy theories and misinformation. Unfortunately, these are prevalent in today’s society, and this trend shall not abate any time soon.
The Devil card is all about free will, and being able to choose to extricate yourself from situations which are not good for you, it reminds you not to play the blame game, to address your addictions and temptations, and at times, to use one face for this one, and one face for that one.
