Somehow this card seems quite fitting for closing out this November. It is labeled disappointment, but it covers all of those feelings you are having over things which may have occurred since the New Moon in Scorpio on November 4. That New Moon kicked off the still ongoing Eclipse season, which will run through December 19, the very day when Venus, currently in shadow, will begin its retrograde. December does promise to be greatly improved, but first you need to let go of the things which did not go in your favor during this month. There is definitely no time available for you to be throwing yourself a pity party; it is time to acknowledge that it is all water under the bridge, just suck it up, and focus on what remains.
The 5 of Cups is a card of disappointment, broken relationships, loss, and I always like to throw in the word “focus”, for when you focus too long on what is no longer, you are bound to be missing out on what could be. Remember, you can not change the things which have already happened, but there is so much you can do to bolster your spirits and to make certain you do not repeat these events.
