My apologies for such a scary image; this is not typical of what you would normally see for an 8 of Cups, but it is what we are working with today. The Moon moves into the Water sign of Pisces today, and this card has no shortage of water. Tomorrow will be the Pisces Full Moon, happening at 17°, also known as the Full Corn Moon, and this year, the Full Harvest Moon as well. Pisces energy is extremely sensitive, and will be more than exacerbated during this time. The Full Moon itself is a positive one, but with its emotional sensitivities, a surprise thrown in by Uranus, and the culminations for which Full Moons are known, it could certainly be a bit of an emotional roller coaster for some. This is actually a perfect card for Full Moon energy, and you could find yourself swept up in the tide of moving on, leaving behind what once was, but which no longer serves a purpose.

The 8 of Cups is a card of disappointment, abandonment, moving on, seeking new territory even, and knowing while something could have been perfect for you at one time, it is not necessarily so now. The old saying nothing lasts forever could very well apply here. So, at this Full Moon, allow the endings to come, and to be carried toward what is meant to come next.
