Do not run; do not hide. There is no reason to fear this card. As a matter of fact, it is one of my favorites, as true change can not come about without endings, and the closing of doors. The energy here is very Scorpionic, and rightfully so, with Scorpio being the sign of death and rebirth. Major transformation is available through the Death card, and while a new door might not immediately open, this appears to be something for which you have longed for some time. The cosmic influence which stands out the most today is a positive one happening between the Moon, currently in Taurus, its sign of exaltation, and none other than Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, ruler of Scorpio, making this card so appropriately placed. There could be intensity and emotion in some of your relationships, prodding you to feel things quite deeply.

The Death card holds the promise of new life, after an old way of life dies away. These cycles are necessary in order to grow, and embracing the closing out of a cycle will be in your best interest.
