The 8 of Swords does not appear as frequently as it once did, but it still probably holds the record for the number of times we have seen it as the Tarot Card of the Day. One does not need to look very far to find Saturn’s restrictive influences, prompting the 8 of Swords to show up today. The Sun will be squaring off with Saturn, and you are bound to be feeling its pinch in some way, especially within the realm of daunting responsibilities. You can do this, just go straight up the middle, get it done, and you will soon see Saturn’s rewards available to you. When we see the 8 of Swords, it is suggesting the only one who can stop you is you. Do it, and you will be glad you did.

The 8 of Swords is a card of powerlessness, feeling restricted, as if one’s hands are tied, and not seeing any available solutions for problems which are plaguing you. It could require some out-of-the-box thinking, but they are there, and you need to be open to the possibilities, and to get out of your own way.
