Tarot cards are associated with signs of the zodiac, and when it comes to the Hierophant, it is all about Taurus energy. This is quite appropriate today, with Jupiter having just begun its transit here yesterday, the Moon moves into Taurus, where it is exalted, and where we will have a lovely New Moon in two days. Mercury, now direct, is also there, and the Sun is finishing up its time in the sign of the Bull as well. The very big news of the day is Jupiter in Taurus, and retrograde Pluto in Aquarius, squaring off at 0°. The change will be undeniable, and power plays will be everywhere. It is time for the status quo to change, and the Hierophant is your guy.

The Hierophant is representative of the status quo, the hierarchy, religious and spiritual beliefs, and even the rules by which we must all abide.
