No one here is a stranger to the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Life always comes with both wins and losses, and how you go about achieving the wins is what says a great deal about your character. Should they come at the expense of others, then you could find it to be rather lonely at the top. Victory, at what price, is worth the cost? Some battles are better won by not engaging in the first place, and merely walking away from unnecessary skirmishes.

The 5 of Swords can often represent someone who is trying to win at any cost. Only you know if you are doing this, or if you are on the other end. It is not truly a win if everyone walks away, and no one is willing to play the game. The true winner is the one who refuses to engage in the nonsense.
