There is one line from the 1976 classic, ‘Hotel California,’ by the ‘Eagles,’ which perfectly sums up The Devil card in the Tarot: “We are all just prisoners here of our own device.” Imagine that; yesterday, with the 8 of Swords it felt like a bit of a sticky wicket, and today is not much different. However, what is important to note is the role you have played in current situations, and how they came to be.

The Devil is about so much more than the Devil, and the temptations which he brings, with a huge reminder you do have free will. Your choices can be ones creating self-sabotage, succumbing to your addictions, or you can choose to free yourself from the restraints you have created.
