The 5 of Cups is often labeled a card of loss, but it is truly more about one’s perception and focus regarding any loss which has been incurred. So many of you out there have been going through some difficult times, and the stories vary, but the themes remain the same. You can choose to dwell on what did not work out as you would have hoped, or you can appreciate what remains, and will provide something solid upon which you can build.

There is an old saying, or two, which have become associated with the 5 of Cups. “There’s no use crying over spilled milk.” “It’s all just water under the bridge.” Think about these, and know there is still plenty for which you can live. It is up to you to decide to embrace what is left, rather than to focus on what is no longer.
