It is possible you feel you made some form of progress on at least one front during the month of January, and are simply not willing to lose any ground. With an impending Mercury retrograde you will definitely want to maintain a defensive stance. Fortify your position now, in advance of the pre-shadow phase which begins on February 11th, so as to avoid a one-step-forward-two-steps-back scenario. You will be so glad you did.
