Defending your territory is never an easy thing to do, and yet you have been fending off all challengers and issues which seem to keep arising on a daily basis. When you manage to gain a little ground, you definitely do not want to lose it, so you will refuse to give an inch. There is a resolve here and not wanting to back down in the face of adversity. Should you in any way feel backed into a corner, plan to come out swinging. People will either be with you or against you, and gathering your troops so to speak, increases your defensive position.

The 7 of Wands is a card which takes a very defensive stance, not backing down, refusing to give up your progress.
