When the 3 of Cups shows up, there is most certainly a celebration of some sort afoot. Today, together with the gals from the Peanuts gang, we celebrate women all over the world. Let them come together and rejoice in the progress which has been made with women’s rights, and that which is yet to come. The Women’s Rights Movement began back in 1848 during an afternoon tea where the discussion turned to the oppression which women suffered. By 1968, the Phillip Morris ad for the cigarette brand, Virginia Slims, had adopted the slogan, “You’ve come a long way, baby!”. It didnt’t stop there. History has been made, and women everywhere will benefit from it.
Whether you are male or female, today is a day to celebrate and recognize this progress which will now serve to be furthered in the coming years. The energy today is one of empowerment and recognizing that good things are indeed on their way for so many out there who are so deserving.
