“For this card I decided to go for a middle-eastern vibe, the Magician casting the four suits as a magic show in his tent as the Fool enters the Carnival, presenting him all 4 kingdoms. My husband, Jason modeled for this painting as he is my muse and I thought he would make a perfect Magician for this deck!”
Card Meaning
The magician is master of his art. His right hand raised to the heavens, and energy bounds from it – the power of the universe is his to command, and he isn’t afraid to show it. He proudly wears the infinity symbol, and his belt is an Ouroboros, a symbol of eternity and the cycle of life. He presents us with all four Tarot suits – the elements, the powers of intellect, emotion, spirit, creativity and the physical world are within his grasp, literally.
This card inspires, telling us we already possess the knowledge and skill to make our dreams come true. It predicts success and soothes self-doubt. The wide range of powers available to the magician reminds us that we can harness the powers of the universe, that rather than rely on one skill set, we can reach wider, think creatively to reach our goals.
