And now the Devil card shows up on a day where there is a rare conjunction between Saturn and Pluto. I would be remiss if I did not mention that Mercury is getting in on the action today, and the Sun joins the conjunction frenzy tomorrow. So, when you think Devil, you think chains and the need to break free. When you think Saturn, you think restriction…pretty much the same thing in my book. The timing of this conjunction is approximately every thirty-four years, the last one being November 7, 1982, and the next is not until June 15, 2053. That is a very long cycle which comes to an end today, meaning that a new one is beginning. Saturn has been in Capricorn for a couple of years now, bringing you lessons in a particular area of life. Your life is about to transform immensely, and you will be aware as this process occurs.
The Devil card represents addictions, bad habits, the need to exercise your free will, and even blaming other people and situations for whatever messes you have going on in your life. This energy which has been building, with the Eclipses, Uranus turning direct, and now this conjunction involving Pluto, planet of transformation, are all designed to break you out of whatever it is you have convinced yourself that you can not change. The Devil card urges you to use your free will, to unlock the chains which mentally prevent you from moving forward, and to set yourself free to live the life you deserve. This will not be an easy road, but it can be a rewarding one.
