What a great card with which to begin your week! You are still in the midst of some tremendously powerful, planetary energy, and no doubt you are feeling it in some way. Today’s card shows that you can call to you what you want; in comparison to yesterday’s 10 of Pentacles, it shows wealth in a more personal form – it is yours. There is a sense of independence here, and the ability to stand on one’s own two feet, which does wonders for your identity. Allowing yourself to be true to you at all times, including in relationships, is of the utmost importance. Knowing you can take care of yourself is truly a glorious feat!

The 9 of Pentacles is known as a card of luxury, in a rather Venusian way, as it concerns itself with those things of beauty to which an individual is drawn. Having these things often gives one a greater sense of self-worth and accomplishment, in the knowing that you made it happen. Independence allows one to thrive in more areas of life than that of a person who is so dependent upon another that they can see nothing else, and have no self-worth of their own.
