Contrary to popular opinion, the Death card has always been one of my favorites. Death, rebirth, and transformation, always give way to new beginnings, and the timing of this card is ever-so-appropriate on several level. Pluto, planet of death, rebirth, and transformation, is stationing to go direct in just five days, and is extremely powerful at this time. In only three days, it will be squaring off with Mars, and you can already witness the power grabs taking place around you, and on the world stage. It is currently eclipse season, and the first eclipse is due to arrive next week, so you will also be witnessing permanent endings occurring around you. All of these forms of death are meant to clear your path and to open new doors.

The Death card is widely-feared, but should not be, for it is only the way of the Universe to help you to rid yourself of situations which no longer serve a purpose in your life. Allow yourself to experience these changes, knowing ultimately you can rise again like the Phoenix.
