Coming on the heels of yesterday’s World card, today’s 5 of Swords feels like it holds a victory for many of you. But, nevertheless, we are going to break it all down as to how it could play out in your life. First, is the victory aspect, and this is all about winning the battle. However, there are a few lessons to be associated with this; if you feel as though you have won out over others in some unhealthy, competitive way, then most likely you will ultimately wind up the loser. The perfect win for you today would be a personal one, triumphing over something you have been attempting to achieve for a long time. Worrying about besting others will get you nowhere, but striving for your personal best to grow is the most positive thing you can do for yourself.
As for the battle and fighting part of it, remember we are only two days away from the Full Moon in Libra, Mercury retrogrades tomorrow, and we have a very busy, and rather tense sky. You do not need to engage everyone and everything crossing your path at this time. Miscommunication abounds when Mercury is stationing, so do not be too swift to react. Often, the winning of the argument/issue comes through not engaging in the first place and knowing when it is in your best interest to walk away. If you have recognized in yourself or another, that argumentative behavior in the vicinity of a Full Moon, then heed that observation and do your best to avoid an unnecessary fight.
