You have quite the powerful energy available to you at this time with the New Moon in Aries being the first of the astrological year. However, in your efforts for change, you must be mindful of the pitfalls of retrograde season, which is upon us, as it can lead you to feeling as though the rug has been pulled out from under you. Remember, it is all in the timing, and while New Moons are for new things and new beginnings, it feels more important to compile your resources, perhaps saving them for that proper moment of bringing things to fruition. Indeed, new starts and rebirths are available to you at this time; it will take you a couple of months to have a handle on things, for you may find your perspective shifting as you attempt to carry out your initiatives.
The spoken word comes up so often at New Moons, and this one is no exception, especially with all of the Aries energy. Be observant, do your homework, trust your intuition, and play detective, with regard to your biggest commitments; however do be careful of what you say with Venus still retrograde and Mercury already in shadow. There is no sense stirring up a hornet’s nest, then needing to do damage control, as you may find it difficult to rein things back in, once things have been blurted out in the open. Keep your focus toward the projects in your life which need your attention in order to grow and effect change by late May, early June.
Do not allow yourself to be deceived when it comes to your agenda; disillusionment is possible if choices are not clear and realistic. Your feelings may vary from complete apathy toward your current life, to honing your craft and finding alternative methods to relieve some of your stress. You can accomplish a great deal between now and the Full Moon, but it is wise to know what should receive your attention and what should not.
