Those of you who have folllowed the Tarot for any amount of time, have at some point heard the Queen of Swords referenced as the Queen of Air. Indeed her sword is representative of the Air element, and today, we have plenty of Air energy in the mix. The Moon is in the Air sign of Libra, as well as retrograde Mercury, the Sun, and Saturn, all in Aquarius. There is a conjunction happening between the Sun and Mercury, also known as a cazimi, meaning in the heart of the Sun. What this means is basically Mercury retrograde is taking a holiday, and you get to see the good side of this Queen and use her to your benefit for once. Her thoughts are clear; her words are precise. Intellect, clarity, and understandable communication can be yours. Do not let this moment pass you by, for Mercury does not go direct until February 3.

The Queen of Swords (not the one we usually see here), on a good day is direct and well-intentioned, wielding her sword for good, and not letting any emotional distractions prevent her from the task-at-hand. She is intelligent, calculating, and extremely honest. Use today’s Queen and the cazimi to hold important conversations which you feel can not wait for Mercury to go direct.
