Beyond the Shift – What Comes Next?

Posted on Updated on

If you are reading this now, then you can probably agree you have come to the other side of some of the most intense times of your life.

This post is a sequel to the one labeled ‘Surviving the Shift’. Since 2012, many people’s lives have been uprooted and detoured by constant obstacles in their path. I really don’t want to relive that part of the story by discussing it again. Let’s move on, shall we?

Life began starting to show little glimmers of hope for many of you at the New Moon in Libra, October 12, 2015. Mercury has left shadow, and it is all systems go. Each of you have been reporting the positivity trying to creep into your life. Some of you are now experiencing the messages of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aries from September 27. Oh, what a tangled web we weave!

Day by day, week by week, life is a little less stressful, but still contains uncertainty as to where your Path is leading you. Let’s all make good use of the New Moon in Scorpio on November 11. For the last 3 years, Saturn was present. Now that it has moved on, I feel this New Moon will really begin to propel people toward their future.

In reality, this really isn’t Beyond the Shift, but it is beyond survival mode. October, 2015 has been a major turning point in many lives. There are 2 more in the coming year which really stand out.

Life is always shifting, but you’ve come through the hard part. The Surviving the Shift reading has been renamed Beyond the Shift. Now it is time to see where your new Path will lead you. There is so much promise up ahead.

The price is $20.00USD through PayPal.

Tarot by Cecelia – Readings

Posted on Updated on

Today, I would like to speak a little about what I do. I have been a Tarot reader for 45 years. I have my own approach as anyone I have ever read for will tell you. I read intuitively, so I never know what is going to come out of my mouth. I grew up without technology, but have learned to embrace it and incorporate it into what I do. It truly enhances the reading process. I care about the people for whom I read and like to see them through to their goals. Everyone’s troubles are real and it’s nice to be able to help.

We are in a very transitional time at the moment. Every single one of us is affected in some way by the shift that is taking place in the universe. A #Tarot reading can bring guidance, clarity and peace of mind.

One of the things I like to do, even for a simple question, is to work with photographs. I always like to see the person for whom I am reading, as well as anyone about whom they may be inquiring.

All readings are recorded and emailed directly to the email address provided by you. I accept PayPal only.

Questions – $5 each

Please phrase with a Who, What When, Where, or Why. If you feel you need to clarify your question with a backstory, or a photo, you may do so at no additional charge. I do not care if you write me a book. Clear questions make all the difference in the world.

Relationship Readings – $20

It is recommended to inquire as to a current or potential relationship in this type of reading. Examples would be love, business, family, and friends. Photos are encouraged, when available. Past relationships are better left there. (Please note, at the time of this post Venus is retrograde and we are into eclipse season. Relationships can be quite fragile at this time. )

What Does the Universe Have in Store for You? – $40

This reading lets in that which you need to know. Events, themes, behavioral patterns, children, spouses, coworkers, and many other things can come out here. So, if you do not wish to know about a certain area, (i. e., career), please make that clear. This one is generally 25-30 minutes in length.

I can also do custom readings that are either tailored to your budget or designed to incorporate the amount of information you are seeking.

Please use the link below to book a reading if it is your first reading with me.

Where it Began – My Tarot Journey

Posted on Updated on

1970 was the year. On a trip to New Orleans with my parents, we spent the day in the French Quarter. The shops there are so amazing and full of cultural history. I remember us going into this crowded little occult store full of tiny aisles. My parents said I could pick out one thing. In retrospect, I’m wondering why I didn’t choose a voodoo doll. I’ve certainly met enough people over the years who would’ve inspired me to buy one!

So, obviously, I chose a tarot deck. I honestly can’t tell you which one. It did become lost over the years after a move. I really wish I had it. I know it wasn’t one of the better-known decks at the time.

The reason I’ve decided to share this with y’all is because of my upbringing. I was raised Catholic. My parents were very strict. However, when they let me buy the cards, I never gave this a thought. I was always taught to be independent and a free thinker.

As with many other things in the world today, some people let religious beliefs cloud their view of things. Religion is in our lives to provide us with a moral compass, not to pass judgment on others. In some countries, very spiritual, religious people practice the tarot.

I would actually take my cards to school  with me. At lunchtime, I read for my friends in the cafeteria. Yes, it was a Catholic school. Everyone loved it and begged for more.

And a Tarot Reader was born!

Bird on a Wire – Tarot Messages

Posted on Updated on

I recently did a reading for someone with some really big life-changing decisions to make. Mostly, I’m very specific about things. Occasionally, I throw out something a little more off the wall and abstract.

I told her that when she saw all the birds, she would be entering the next phase in her life. Something was different about the birds and their activity. A week went by, and she needed to begin to address these decisions regarding her business.

There were two offers to consider. She was meeting with one of the companies at a restaurant. She chose the restaurant. She chose the outdoor table. Also with her was her regional manager. When they were seated, she noticed seagulls in the area. She was rather hoping they did not try to swoop in for her shrimp. Instead, one of them decided to give her a sign by flying over and pooping on the table between them.

This is the deal she has decided to choose. It’s the one which will benefit her the most in the long run. So, crazy as it may sound, the appearance of the birds has signaled a new phase. This is only one of the reasons I love to record my readings. I simply let the words fly!

Often, unusual things can be said to you in a Tarot reading. Take heed, for what sounds silly, at the time, will ultimately have a huge impact.

Tarot Etiquette – Do’s and Don’ts

Posted on Updated on

Yes, there is such a thing. Even if it’s a one-time only reading, there is such a thing.

I can remember some years ago friends of mine were willing to pay $150 per person to go have someone read their cards in person for them. They called from a phone booth and gave fake names when they scheduled their appointment. Needless to say, their reading was still right on point.

However, if you feel the need to hide yourself from a reader, well that’s just wrong. I will admit there are likely many unscrupulous ones out there. Find a respected tarot reader through friends and family. So, what’s my point here? TRUST…you must trust your reader to deliver the message you are meant to hear.

You know, just as much as you want to like your tarot reader, you need for your tarot reader to like you. Good readers will develop a relationship with you. The guidance only gets better.

The most important thing you can do is provide accurate feedback. It’s not about whether the reading is right or wrong. Often, things are discussed which have not yet happened. But verification of circumstances is important. It’s not unusual to speak at length about a situation without even knowing what it is.

So, here are some general tips to improve your tarot experience:

1.    Be honest with your reader, don’t be fake;

2.    Don’t be vague when making inquiries;

3.     If the reading is in person, listen, then reply;

4.     Thank you is not feedback. You hit the nail on the head is feedback…followed by how that is so;

5.     If your reading does not resonate with you, should you blame your reader? Or are you simply unwilling to hear the message that is being given?

Remember this, not all readers are the same. Don’t let a past bad experience prevent you from having a good one in the future. Mutual respect is important.

If you have experiences you would like to share, feel free to do so through any of the links below. There is also space to comment at the bottom of this post.

Let’s Talk Tarot – Using Photographs

Posted on Updated on

I have been reading #Tarot cards long before there was even the thought of the internet. The Jetson’s were everyone’s idea of technology. For so many years, obviously the only people I did readings for were face to face.

Internet and smartphones have opened doors of communication never thought possible. So, now you ask me what happens to my abilities as a Tarot reader. Absolutely nothing. All these modern advances have had no effect on me. I believe in adapting with the times.

So, where do pictures fit in this conversation? There are two schools of thought. One is you should be able to read for someone you’ve never met without a photo. Can I do that? Yes. But, I love seeing for whom I am reading.

When I focus on a photo of the person I’m reading, I do so before and during the shuffling of the cards. Some of these things defy explanation here, but I can honestly tell you I find the details of the reading to be more vivid.

I encourage everyone to submit a photo of just themselves along with their reading request. Questions and subsequent readings may include photos of other pertinent people in your life. Just because your photo is solely of you, it doesn’t mean the reading will only include you. What it assures is that it will be for your life.

Thank you for taking the time to include your photo(s) when requesting a reading. I look forward to our online experience.

Asking Questions of Tarot

Posted on Updated on

Very often, when someone consults with a Tarot reader, they are seeking a particular answer. One of the things you must learn to do is be accepting of the answer. Some will go from place to place, asking the same question. The answer is not likely to change.

There are various degrees of Tarot readers out there. I cannot vouch for any of them, but I am certain they would all be in agreement on this subject. One of the most frequently asked and frustrating questions is “Will we get back together?”.  Let’s be serious about this for a moment…why are you apart? Asking the Tarot isn’t going to make it so.

When you find a Tarot reader that you like, establishing a relationship is paramount. Readings can contain so much useful information. But you, as the querent, need to be receptive to the information you receive. Don’t be afraid to talk things over with your reader. Think of him/her as a trusted friend. The Tarot can provide a great deal of guidance.

So, when you want to ask a question of a Tarot reader, ask yourself:

1. Do I already know the answer?

2. Am I prepared to hear the truth?

3. Am I willing to listen to the truth?

If you enter into a reading with an acceptance of it’s outcome, then it is a successful reading. As a long-time reader of Tarot, I find it very frustrating when the reading is great, but it falls on deaf ears.

So, do yourself a favor when mulling over those questions. Ask with the intent to listen.

Have a great day!
