Mars in the last degree of Capricorn will play a heavy role in today’s activities and events. Forceful, to say the least, so it can likely bring extreme positives and negatives in any area of life. When it comes to the epitome of nastiness and negativity which may be felt, seen, or heard today, the King of Swords definitely wears this crown. Here we have a man whose ego is extremely inflated, looking much more like a sore loser sitting dejected on his would-be throne. Personally, I have often cringed when seeing this type of person show up in a reading. A controlling narcissist? Absolutely! This is definitely not the person anyone should want in control of their kingdom, as he feels he is above everyone, and beyond reproach. Judging by the depiction in today’s card, it would appear that someone, or something, has indeed deflated this overblown windbag’s ego just a tad. This only serves to feed on his negative side and he will not quietly go away. But, he will go away and sit on his lonely throne to rethink his approach to life and his purpose. However, the chances of him being swayed to become the personality of any other King is unlikely. This negativity is deep and long-standing; some things can never change.
Above all else today, as this energy is being felt on a global level, do not engage in the dark, destructive side of the King of Swords; be a Cup, a Pentacle, or even a Wand, but leave your Sword in the closet, and choose to create change in the world through positive energy.
