Only two days ago, we saw the Queen of Pentacles, now here is the King to drive home the message. Many of the same principles and personality traits apply to both, so it would appear this is a message to which you need to pay attention. Let us try to break it down. Mercury has just entered shadow, so when it comes to the area of finances, you see our King guarding his treasure chest. This should be you, it may be time to be a little more frugal and sit tight on your finances, you may need that money for later. This is definitely not the time for unnecessary expenditures and luxury items, especially electronic ones. Hold onto your money. Some of you, not all, tend to put social life first, which is more of a fiery trait, but the King of Pentacles would like for you to slow down in the social area and tend to matters of the home, perhaps before they become an issue. Just saying.
Of all the Kings, this one truly is the King of his castle. The tendency toward family, home and finances is indicated here, and it is likely in your best interest to be a homebody once in a while. Keep your focus toward nurturing those you love and what it will take to provide security for yourself and others on the homefront for the long term. We have had so many Pentacles lately, and I believe it really is time to pay attention to your home situation.
