Card of the Day – The Devil – Monday, October 23, 2017
Today the Sun enters Scorpio, and, I for one, am a little put off that this card is here. But, let’s make the best of it. It is not, by any means, a bad card, but it definitely brings into sharp relief the vices, habits, and situations, which we allow ourselves to succumb to in life. There is a form of submission with this card; you can get out of it, if you want, but something keeps you chained to it. It could be a relationship, a bad habit, an addiction, or even a possession, which feels as though it has a stranglehold on you, preventing you to move forward with your plans.
The presence of the Sun in Scorpio is much more decisive than when it is in Libra. You will be prompted to dig deep, perhaps you are being shown just how this negativity in your life is truly affecting you. The urge to break free, once and for all, will likely remain intense over the next four weeks, giving you ample time to extricate yourself from a confining situation. Finally, you will do it, no excuses, no blame.
