How are you feeling today? If you say overwhelmed, or unexplainably depressed, it is certainly understandable. Your life is transitioning in a very necessary way and many of you have begun some new things, but have not totally extricated yourself from some old situations. Right now the energies may feel slightly heavy. There are still four retrograde planets, the Moon is in intense Scorpio today, tomorrow the Sun enters Gemini, Saturday is the first of two Full Moons in Sagittarius, and Mercury is slowing down to go direct on Sunday.
So, what does all of this have to do with the 6 of Swords and how you feel today? Lots, my friends. Some days simply feel tougher than others, hence my explanation of energies in the previous paragraph. Many depictions of the 6 of Swords show people being taken from rough waters to smoother ones, but the shore is still at a distance. Others are reminiscent of a scene from an Indiana Jones movie, where you have to trust that scary bridge between two ominous cliffs. Remember, the good guys always make it across. Just like in the movies, you are transitioning from a not-so-nice place to a safer one. A little more travel is required to reach that safe shore. Trust in the journey. You are not that far now from that happier place which you seek.
